The iPhoneaMometer. I Mean iMeter. I Mean Dynolicious.

What’s Dynolicious? Thank Gary Grant @ The Garage Blog for letting us know.

The 3G iPhone’s CeoC just jumped to 1.0. A full 1.0. Even though my primary phone is a Blackberry, I love my two old-school iPhones. Don’t ask me why I have two. Just know that I love them. Yes, the keyboards suck while driving, and yes, they lack copy and paste, search and GPS, but I love them because they’re…oh, whatever. I’m just a Mac guy, and even though mine can’t run Dynolicious the way the 3G iPhones can, well, now I’ve got a reason to upgrade to the 3G hardware.

Dynolicious is any serious driver’s dream - a G-meter/performance measurement app that uses the 3G iPhone’s accelerometer to supply you your (and your car’s) performance data…the same data previously only available through various aftermarket single-purpose devices cost $99-500. According to the developer, the app will be downloadable via the Apple’s App Store in July, which means it should already be there…even though it isn’t. Whether you should buy a 3G iPhone just to use this…that’s up to you…

Thanks, Gary.

Senor Roy, texting while driving? Shame Shame!!!

Its very buggy and a bit ugly. If they can get it to function consistently and reliably then it will be a great app for drivers.

A reason why I still haven’t purchased an iPhone is that it’s almost impossible to write a text message while driving…
