The world’s most infamous E39 BMW M5 has finally returned home from the 2007 Gumball 3000. I will retreive it later today from Horseless Carriage – the only automotive shipping company I trust – from whose Patterson, New Jersey depot I will slowly drive it – still in Gumball livery - back to Team Polizei‘s secret garage bunker in Greenwich Village, hoping to avoid making any new friends in law enforcement. Luckily, Team Polizei has indeed made some new friends – real friends – in the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, not that there’s anything they could do if I was really foolish. (Hey Mr. D…you know who you are!)
After a quick refit at AI Design, Team Polizei will begin a series of surprise appearances at local car events as the "The Driver" book tour approaches. More to follow.
