But yes. J.F. has agreed to be a rare contributor on Jalopnik. Once home to Davey Johnson and recently departed Mike Spinelli – both good friends and witnesses to our 31:04 record run – new Editor-In-Chief Ray Wert was wise enough to ask Mr. Musial to join up.
I know. I look a lot tougher in this picture than I do in real life. Thank Automobile Magazine photog Joshua Kristal. In any case, Automobile’s Marc Noordeloos was kind enough to run a full page Q&A with me on Page 22, but you’ll have to go to the newsstand to read it.
(A million thanks to man-about-SF-town Kai Chang, uber-blogger Tim Ferriss & old friend Andrea Zurek, each of whom have bent over backwards to make this happen…)
I like hot dogs. I love ice cream. So I’m bringing Team Polizei’s BMW M5 Interceptor 144B to The Stand in Encino tonight in order to eat and relax on the eve of "The Driver" book tour.
Anyone interested in fast food, Team Polizei, "The Driver", "32 Hours, 7 Minutes" or Polizei 144B should come down to The Stand, 17000 Ventura Blvd, Encino, California tonight between 1930hr and 2100hr.
Sorry for the late notice, but between travel delays, prepping 144B and ISP issues, updates have been tough. We will, however, be posting all future events at least five days in advance, and not merely to select communities/forums. More to follow.
The Polizei M5 144B has completed its break-in run, arriving this morning with Alex Roy behind the wheel in beautiful Los Angeles. After a day of rest, Alex and crew will begin the west coast book tour, making the first stop at the L.A. Auto Show.
