THE Team Polizei BMW will be…

…my E39…until it catches fire. Or explodes. Or falls into the Atlantic. I still get e-mails asking me when an E60 shall replace it. The answer is never. Here is why, or at least the first part of why, which will become apparent in the coming weeks and months.

The AI Design CLS55 AMG

Team Polizei’s trusted friends at AI Design just got this shout-out from European Car for the stunning CLS55 AMG they built for DC shoes founder Ken Bloch. I’ve seen this car in person, and although I generally could care less about most aftermarket work - at any price - AI’s work is utterly gorgeous, and even more impressive in person.

Gumball Crash Driver Exclusive Interview Coming…

…courtesy of his hometown paper - Nick Morley’s first interview since being released by the Macedonian authorities and returning to the UK. I’m quite curious to learn more about the case, and hope he will release show (or at least discuss) more of the evidence and court documents than what little we’ve seen.

Why Stick Shift is Better.

A very entertaining video…I’ve been saying this for years, and using this very reason as a last resort. They don’t teach stick shift in car-jacking school, apparently.

143mph. 75G. Crash. Wall. Sprained Ankle. Headache.

Here’s to race-bred safety technology trickling down to the rest of us as quickly as possible. Robert Kubica’s spectacular crash last week apparently resulted in more than a minor concussion and a temporary limp.

Virginia Introduces $3550 Speeding Ticket With No Ulterior Motive, Obviously…

Virginia legislator David B. Albo had no ulterior motive for introducing this speeding ticket tax, since his traffic law firm couldn’t possiby benefit from an influx of new business. Read the actual bill here.
